Patient monitoring

The RFID system improves the tracking of the patients themselves:

• Preventing newborn switching/theft: A tag is attached to the newborn's hand and the mother's hand, and a mismatch between the two triggers an alarm and locks the ward doors.
• Preventing unauthorized psychiatric patients from leaving the ward/hospital gates.
